Finally got to do a little shooting. Spent the day with the wife antique shopping and the such. Rusty’s find of the day was a vintage 1940’s-50’s Westclock pocket watch. Works like a charm! Got to shoot the Iver Johnson shotgun for the first time, that’s fun. Still enjoying the Wrangler and the Single Six shoots amazing!

Just having a little fun with some fun shooting in the 1950’s! Don’t mind me!

Had a good 3 hour range trip with WT and 88.

Came home with one more rifle than I showed up with thanks to TD and the PLH.
Glad to hear that. I think you'll appreciate the light weight of that rifle. Also means I have one coming back my way as well.

Great range trip. Got to see and shoot some awesome rifles. Mine is not yet broke in, but I see some promise. Now to go have a strong drink and hot bath to soothe the sore shoulder... :):

It was a great range trip despite both WT And Tarzan outshooting me with my own gun.

I am now rethinking my optic collection. The Tikka needs better glass than the Sig Sierra BDX and the Bushnell 1-4x AR optic that I’ve often bragged on is showing it’s limitations.

The AR optic was frustrating in that I was having trouble with the focus and distortion. Plus, I think that I was having parallax issues.

So, the thought now is to move a bunch of stuff around and buy better glass for the Tikka. 2021 will be the year of the perpetual optic sight in range trip.

If you don't need illumination, I don't think you could find a better deal than this scope for $670. 3.5-21x50 on a 34mm tube. It is a ton of glass for the money.
