I ordered a 100 rounds of Federal .223 softpoint from PSA .... about 30 minutes ago.
At .75/ round, it wasn't cheap, but for great quality hunting rounds that are perfect for my Ruger bolt-action, they're acceptably priced .... and were available. :rockwoot:
100 rounds through a bolt gun is a good bit of shooting.

Hi. My name is T-Dogg Carlos Spicyweiner and I am addicted to online gun parts shopping. It has been 30 3 minutes since I last looked at parts online. In my defense, there was a sale and that's like scooting a bowl of ice cream in front of a fat kid.
Yeah, I have a problem too. I ordered a case of 7.62x39 today just in case I ever get an AK that I keep telling myself I don't want and wouldn't use.

Thanks again everyone. Hoping it shoots as well as it looks.

Congrats on getting it finally. It’s been a long wait on that one for you.

Do you have a set of bubble levels for the scope mounting process?

I have a Wheeler leveling kit that I plan to use. Hopefully I can figure it out... ;)

Let us know how that pans out. I have my own process that works for me but open to ne things.

I'll do that. I'm a complete newb when it comes to mounting scopes. I basically did my best on the 22 rifles and AR that have scopes installed, but I know they weren't done that well. Hoping that doing it right will lead to better groups...

Don’t forget to figure out how much eye relief you need to get it perfect before leveling anything. When you have it set for eye relief and have it focused for your eye, put a bit of fingernail polish on it to mark your focus.

Well :poop: running into a bit of a problem. I don't think the EGW rail is working out too well for me as the scope sits up too high for me with the medium rings I bought and an old crappy pair of low rings as well... :(

Willing to help you out, but need a picture of what you're facing and details on what you have (rail, scope and rings). You can PM me if you want.

Sounds odd. Is it the EGW rail that’s the issue or the optic? Which direction is the thick end of the rail pointing?
