It's terrible that people died, but that's not what this is about.

    Who's this directed at?
Or are you just looking for a reason to use meye ryeeetttsss?
I would venture to guess that somebody's rights saved some lives.
    Dude, projection, don't.

Not directed at anyone. Just putting my chips on what happened.

We have all seen the "meye ryeeeetttsss" in action. It is ignorant, dim-witted and leads to anger and violence. It is akin to the "Eet ain't low-dead" that we see at the range or gun store.

Points for working both "meye ryeeeetttsss" and "Eet ain't low-dead" into the same post.

Projecting No, I was just asking a question.
It is nice of you to project your feelings into the situation after telling someone not to though.
I will wait to see if we find out what really happened while not making assumptions.

No feelings, just experience. Anyone who has been in the gun culture for decades as seen the "meye ryeeetttsss" yahoos and the tremendous damage that they can do, the crimes, the negligent shootings because of sloppy gun handling, inter alia.

Don't know if the LA murders were one, but that is the vibe I would bet on. Like everyone else here I am up to my elbows in RUMINT but will await further info.

Is there any further news on this, before we go too deep passing judgement?

    The victims, the shooters, etc?

Thank you for the productive commentary Kirk.

    ....................

Now back to my question. Have we heard anything further reporting on this?

    The folks involved, motive, etc?

You want RUMINT? Ok, but it is just rumor based on locals:

Guy shows up with pistol in hand. Counterman says you can't do that, put it in holster or unload it in pistol rug.

Argument ensues. My rightser shoots counterman and then receives fire from female. Is hit but kills female.

My rightser runs back out into parking lot where he is burned down by multiple parties.

It's a convergence of my rights with "he was a good boy, he didn't do nothing!"

"Meye ryeeetttsss!" always contains he was a good boy and didn't do nothing.

Part of Meye Ryeeetttsss a complete refusal to self=examine one's behavior around others. They are always completely innocent.

"Investigators are scrutinizing a key exchange. Williams, 27, brought a pistol with an extended magazine into the shop and argued with staff when they told him to unload his weapon to comply with a rule prohibiting patrons from having a loaded gun when not in a booth at the target range, multiple law enforcement sources told The Times-Picayune"

    Winner, winner chicken dinner.

Meye ryeeetttss to a chicken dinner!!!
