Glad I got my colt before cz ruins them.
I'm sorry I mean no disrespect to you cz lovers but every one I picked up at the nra convention I hated. The grip was so abrasive and uncomfortable.

Funny stuff. Someone picks up a polymer gun and does not like the aggressive texture and then condemns the entire product line to be crap. That’s going to keep me smiling for the rest of the evening :)

Of course, maybe purple was implied? Nah, it’s funnier without it.

Just having some fun FMJ. No offense intended

To be honest I'm not entirely sure I've ever seen a non-polymer cz.

No offense taken, I think it's that ol adage about first impressions.

If someone wants to have a range day and try to change my mind, I'm happy to show up. I'll even bring cigars.

We should do that one of these days. I have both polymer and non-polymer CZs to play with. The polymer grip texture is very aggressive and I’ve toned one of my P10Cs down with Talon grips for the wife. Truth be told, I kind of like it better myself too

Wait, I should have asked: What kind of cigars? Dang, too late. I hate when I do that.

My humidor is exploding. If I don't have something that fits your taste I may just have to grab you some Swisher's sweets or black and milds on the way to go shooting.:D

I don’t smoke cigars often so something good would likely be wasted on me. I don’t think I’ve ever smoked a cigar while shooting though. Kind of seems like it would go together like a pipe and bourbon

Picked up what....A CZ or a DW 1911.

OK I tread it all now.

My brother you can not make that comparison.

Your Colt would be vastly improved after CZ had their way with the production line and quality control. If you hook up with 88 he will let me know and oit will be a most informative day for you.

Wasn't Smith and Wesson sold to a British company back in the 80's? Yet people didn't complain about their British owned S&W. Now owed by American Outdoor Brand have no clue if that is an American company or not but the CEO is British.
That said imo the British are closer to being communist in ideals than the Czech are now days.

But they used to be our buddy's. We can almost understand them but they have bad teeth.

Colt lasted this long because of there name not there quality. Revolvers that the timing goes out 3x to 1 on a Smith. Target grade 1911s that were fit as loose as military models. They used good material in building what they sold that was it.

Colt is a husk for the investors to suck all the blood out of. It became ZIL with M4 production which allowed them not to focus on improving QC and pumping money into R&D. That money could be taken out of the company and given to the investors.

CZ could, close down CT, move to Arkansas, slash their nut below competitors like FN by dealing with Arkansas overhead and no UAW.

i'm naturally against any business in America being owned by foreigners. Too many way to stop, influence, or destroy something central to out country..

But, if CZ can get Colt under control, perhaps I'll look closer at their product lines.
