My granddaughter had one of her teachers brainwashing her into being a vegetarian. Out of the blue one day she says she isn't eating meat anymore. I ask her where that came from. After some insistence on my part, she finally fessed up. This was a teacher that was supposed to be preparing the kids for the magic all important test.

    It lasted about a month.

Thats all they teach now is that ridiculous test.

I will add one note about that STL couple defending their home - The BLM group ENTERED THEIR GATE, approached their front ****ing door.

And I ****ing LOATH the media painting these people as some crazy gun fanatics REEEEEE.

No. Go **** yourselves with a ****ing rake.

Last time a media outlet got me this pissed is when some new york piece of **** newspaper published the addresses of licensed gun owners.

This story is ****ing RETARDED with how its being framed. Their property was invaded, and the ****-stain media made them to be the bad guys.

Those people are definitely not crazy gun fanatics. He's lucky he didn't shoot his wife. Bet he is also right handed.

In his defense maybe it's his first gun and it was bought specifically for the rioting. Good thing he had it and also a good thing nobody got hurt. The media would have loved that.

Video of a St. Louis couple coming out of their house, man with a rifle, telling protesters to **** off.

One of the biggest replies to that?

Also, if you have Twitter, that tweet should be reported. People have been banned for less.

    It's gone now. Good riddance.

Hell, it wasn't even a civil war.
In a civil war, citizens of the same country battle to take over governance of that country. The confederates never attempted to take over anything.... they were simply walking away.

"War for Southern Independence" or "War of Northern Aggression" are more appropriate terms.

hrm... America is a country. if someone takes half of it that seems rather aggressive

I guess I just interpreted Thomas Jefferson saying when a government becomes destructive it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it and form a new government, combined with the fact the constitution doesn’t (or didn’t at the time) forbid states ability to secede.

Actually I believe there was a state that kept threatening to secede, and nobody ever challenged the legality of it. Been a while since I’ve read up on it tho might have to do some digging later

Whether we remain in one confederacy, or form into Atlantic and Mississippi confederacies, I believe not very important to the happiness of either part. Those of the western confederacy will be as much our children & descendants as those of the eastern, and I feel myself as much identified with that country, in future time, as with this; and did I now foresee a separation at some future day, yet I should feel the duty & the desire to promote the western interests as zealously as the eastern, doing all the good for both portions of our future family which should fall within my power. (Letter from Jefferson to Dr. Joseph Priestly, January 29, 1804)

The future inhabitants of the Atlantic & Missipi States will be our sons. We leave them in distinct but bordering establishments. We think we see their happiness in their union, & we wish it. Events may prove it otherwise; and if they see their interest in separation, why should we take side with our Atlantic rather than our Missipi descendants? It is the elder and the younger son differing. God bless them both, & keep them in union, if it be for their good, but separate them, if it be better. (Letter from Jefferson to John C. Breckenridge, August 12, 1803)

Jefferson bad.... better take down statues of Jefferson.

This is what we now face on an hourly basis from the MSM as they crank out the spin. I hate them.

Thanks for keeping INGO ahead of the news cycle GP, and for the epic rant.

Nevermind (to the Twitter Mob) that the protesters were trespassing on private property, and that under Missouri self-defense and castle doctrine statutes, the couple had every legal right to do what they were doing. There's doxxing and canceling to be done!

Sssshhh facts and logic need not apply.

They are privileged rich people! So they must vote for orange man and we know that is bbbbbaaaaddddd. :faint:

As has been pointed out the media left out the fact that this is a private gated community and the protestors broken the gate and where on PRIVATE PROPERTY.

    Legal, but not smart.

Let's just say I'm not going to the gun range with these two.

It looks like the crowd is proceeding up the street on the sidewalk. It's a gated community, so there's no Google streetview. There's several fences to stop cars, but looks like a place that I'd love to walk, because those homes are beautiful.

That said, I'd be sitting out there with my kit (which incl. shoes), and low ready.

Let's put our thinking caps on for a moment. :tinfoil: There. Better.

I don't know if it's just a twisted form of serendipity, or if it's thought out to be this way. But I can't help but think about how remaking the police as a social justice force would help move the cultural revolution's progress along quicker. For example. I'd wager that in most jurisdictions the cops mostly lean a bit to the right. They're generally pro-gun. They're generally in favor of having armed citizens. That's a problem if you want to confiscate guns. Many have said they flat out won't participate in that. That's just one convenience for the left if they could replace those cops with their kind of "peace keepers". Think about what kind of "law enforcement" would best suit bat **** crazy leftists. That's what we'll have.

I started thinking about that the other day when I watched Mike the Cop's "why I'm no longer a cop" video. He's a strong 2A supporter. Lot's of cops are quitting for much the same reason as Mike. The risk calculation no longer makes sense when department heads become political and throw them under the bus for performing their duties the way they're trained to do. I get why he quit. I can't say I blame him. And it's too bad that it's going to take 2A supporting non-bat-****-crazy police officers out of play.

It just seems too convenient not to have been at least thought about. Start a campaign to tear down the current institution of law enforcement. Alienate them from their departments and make them think it's no longer worth it. Replace the current law enforcement institution with a new, far left radicalized version. This is how our police force turns into the same kind of social justice ninnies the Brits have.

I ain't saying it was planned. But it is worth noting how convenient it is that 2A defending police officers are quitting in many jurisdictions.

    The Tao of Progressivism:

    1. Identify a respected institution.
    2. Kill it.
    3. Gut it.
    4. wear its carcass as a skin suit, while demanding respect.

And you'd be trespassing if you did so. It is a private street, owned by the residents. It is not public property, including the streets and sidewalks.

And the trespassers went through a pedestrian gate with very clear, "no trespassing" signage. They didn't go through a vehicular gate.
