To those who have spent your hard earned money and invested into a CZ Scorpion, I have a simple question.

Do you have any regrets about buying it?

    If so, was it:
    • Under powered
    • awkward to shoot/handle
    • didn’t fit the application for which you intended
    • felt cheap
    • too expensive to get it set up correctly with aftermarket parts (trigger, safety, etc.)
    • just too freak’n expensive to keep because I love to pull its trigger and buy cool things for it

No regrets, most fun I’ve ever had with two hands. Even after I got her majesty’s permission to shoulder and vfg it.

I'm happy with mine, especially now that there are Magpul magazines for it.

I am seriously considering the binary trigger, but that won't be for at least a little bit.

Do you have any regrets about buying it? No

    If so, was it:
    • Under powered It has more felt recoil than expected out of a 9mm
    • awkward to shoot/handle Without a brace or stock (SBR), yes.
    • didn’t fit the application for which you intended
    • felt cheap it doesn’t feel cheap while shooting, but afterwards when cleaning I always notice how beat up the hammer gets and that does annoy me. Also, I have the micro version and the roll pin that holds the charging handle in keeps on backing out.

    • too expensive to get it set up correctly with aftermarket parts (trigger, safety, etc.) not at all, in fact, quite the opposite
    • just too freak’n expensive to keep because I love to pull its trigger and buy cool things for it This, very much so! You will go through ammo fast!:ar15:

That’s interesting with the roll pin and it may be because I have mine cerakoted I have never had an issue with the roll pin backing out. The rest of your comments apply to mine as well except I have not payed attention to the hammer wear so no comment on that.

Edit: mine is not a micro. I had the pistol version with the carbine handguard and I added the k barrel from in lead we trust.

I'm wanting to get at least one more Scorpions. I have the normal pistol with the fake suppressor flash can (plans to replace it with a suppressor). I would like to get either a micro, or convert one to a micro. I could also be tempted to get the carbine as well.

My current one is probably the gun I enjoy the most. I have not done any changes to my gun yet.

Pick my Micro up today. Bought it with the intention of using it as a backpack gun for travel, etc. If it works out, it will replace a Mini Draco and save 3-4 pounds when factoring in 4-5 loaded mags, etc. I don't plan on it being a high volume shooter but who knows. And yeah, a suppressor will find its way on someday.

I'd have really really really considered the Ruger PCC take-down pistol dealio if it had been on sale when I bought my Scorpion.

That said, I really do enjoy it.

I will agree with BravoMike that the blowback action means more felt recoil than you would expect from a 9mm, but it's not bad. It's still less than a 5.56 AR.

I've had mine for a few years I never leave it behind when I go to the range. Only thing I hated about it is the grip I dont know what they were thinking when they designed it with that angle.

Every factory mag I have is cracked defiantly have to pickup some aftermarket mags i use the manticore arms mags.

I bought the micro. I havent done anything to it yet. Just sitting in the box still. I want to replace half the stuff on it to make it comfortable to shoot and look cooler than the stock version, and just haven't done it yet.
In the meantime I bought a b&t GHM9 gen2 with the 4" barrel and it is bad ass with the folding brace. I added a aimpoint ACRO and surefirescout light and it's good to go. But I also have a folding side charging handle coming for it now and a aftermarket trigger. But surprisingly the factory trigger is very good and doesn't really need replaced.
The B&T is more money but well worth it. Also by the time I buy all the aftermarket stuff for the scorpion and red dot and light, then it will be close to as much money as I have in the B&T.
Bad thing is the ghm9 mags are $50 each. Scorpion mags are much cheaper.
However soon I will have the glock mag lower for my ghm9 and I will be able to use 30round or other glock mags in it. So cheaper. But the lower is almost 500 bucks

I looked at the scorpion hard, unfortunately I decided not to go that route due to need to change way too many things. I recently pick up a Palmetto state armory AKV9 and for the money is hard to beat, I got the one with ALG trigger and its just awesome out of the box. The only things added were Holosun red dot and a sling with a few 9f their $15.00 dlr magazines and this thing is ready to go. I looked at several other platforms and while nice very expensive, it is a great tool to have.

I have an AKV-9 as well and the common mags is one of the reasons I got a Scorpion. The AKV seems great but it is a little big and heavy for backpack carry which is what I was wanting. So excuse to buy a second gun. I hope to take them both to the range along with my Pak-9 to have a nice little shoot out doddg style.

I'm very happy with mine, it's excellent for home protection and for backpack carry. It's a ball to shoot and I've had no issues with mine whatsoever. Changed out the trigger and the grip, added an MRO and an Omega 9k, and have a K-sized barrel getting here any minute now. Love the simple breakdown, the reliability, and the accuracy. I haven't really found a downside yet, other than the unfortunate stock grip and mags. That was easily changed with Magpul options. Mine isn't as fancy as some but it works great and I know it inside out, and work well with it. Great gun for lefties like me too.

I don't own one but have shot my brothers quite a bit.
I've enjoyed shooting it every time. I'll say its a blast with the binary trigger but it turns into a ammo hose

Bought the pistol Scorpion. Added SB folding brace from the start. Changed handle to change for angle to keep the safety lever off the hand before even shooting it from reading the reviews. Stock triggers are very heavy and changed a spring, available from several suppliers, now trigger is actually nice.

I shoot is sometimes to 200 yards with the factory iron sights rested off a bench. Very funny to hear those hit steel. Haven't gotten around to putting any kind of optic on it.

I can understand why people like these little 9mm rifles. I don't get excited over them for some reason. I have no criticisms over the handgun caliber carbine concept, just doesn't excite me. For home defense, i would rather have a handgun, but would have no issue using the scorpion.

Anyone had problems with any specific ammo? I am wondering about cheaper blasting stuff like aluminum cased Blazer or steel cased Wolf.

I prefer my mp5 over my friends scorpion but it's not a bad shooter at all.

yeah I prob would too but I don’t have $3k free to buy HK MP5 at the moment. I love my scorpion, even more so at the low price of $800, granted I did pay extra $200 to make it SBR.
