    Good morning

Daughter made it to work just fine. Said the roads were somewhat snow covered but no issues.

The snow stopped here shortly after I got home last night. The sidewalk was clear but now appears to have a layer of ice or something on it. The road crews have been out for a couple of hours already and it sounds like the highway is fine. We'll see if we actually get more today as they are predicting.

Pretty sure we are down one more coyote...the shot woke me up last night. That makes 7.

    Morning DoggyDaddy, Sam, Mom.

It has just started snowing here on the southside of Indy. I'm debating working from home, or going into work. I'll probably go into work...

I have my snow tires on the old truck with the weight in the back. I'm pretty sure I can drive through just about anything...who needs 4WD? Not me. :rockwoot:

I almost never put my old Dodge in 4WD mom, unless it's really deep snow. It does just fine even without any extra weight in the back. My little front wheel drive Hyundai is another story. It's the most god-awful car for any kind of slick conditions I've ever had.

My husband claims I don't need the extra weight back there, but I feel like it handles better in the snow. My suburbans don't go out in bad weather even though I know they would handle great in it. I just don't want to get them covered in salt even though we had them both undercoated. I drive the '84 pretty much every day when the roads are decent and have snow tires on it in case it snows on a day they weren't predicting it and I need to get home safely. The old '88 Silverado is my vehicle of choice on days like this where the roads could be sketchy. Between the Duratrac tires and the weight, it just plows through everything. And...the body is going so if I wreck it, I'm probably out about $1500 tops.

Filling the water bucket for the deer so I can get out there and give them their corn. We had 17 in the back yard last night when we were eating dinner. I didn't fill their bucket yesterday but figure it might be frozen today so I will take them a fresh drink to go with their snack.

HAGD guys...I am off to play on the road!
