We need to be fighting but we don't need to fight each other. We need clear and defined goals and objectives. What do WE want to fight for? There are many gun owners here on INGO and we may not all have the same views or the same beliefs but surely there is some common ground between us and surely we can set some defined goals that are first desired among us and secondly that are realistic and achievable. Its kinda sad that there is a sticky post in this section a "wish list" and its empty. Are we content with the laws that we have or are there one or more changes that we can all agree on?

I would like to see a SCOTUS decision that puts to bed forever any form of gun control that is anti 2A. In 2A the word "people" should be clarified to include all citizens of this country to clear up the crap about police or the national guard. "Shall not be infringed" should be defined so liberal judges and pols never again can chip away at our freedoms.

Eliminating the onerous requirements for suppressors and sbr/sbs would be the first thing I'd like to see. It also eliminates a lot of confusing laws on what's a handgun, firearm, sbr...

First and foremost I would like to not see ANY new guns laws! That's my #1!
But BBI got it for me basically reform the NFA to make it non existent. Then we can look at GFZ's and constitutional carry/national reciprocity; not trying to place order of importance but if it were my choice that'd be it.

    LOL -

I voted for all them (that's an option) -

    ConC - yes.
Eliminate GFZ eerrr CPZ's - yes.
... (I'll take this slowly if I have to - 1 zone type at a time, too).
Remove Supressors from NFA - yes.
National Reciprocity - yes. - provided we don't get the Fed' involved in state issues.
National ConC. - yes. (hey I can dream).
Remove SBR's SBS's from NFA ... yes (why are these here, I just was reading and learned a bit) ...
Repeal the NFA / GCA 68 / etc ... yes. (is this covered above?).
Tax Deductions / Rebates for Training / Safety equipment ... this was proposed you know ... yes.
    what else was out there?

and of course LibertyBear is providing Bacon for all. who can't vote for that.

how do we get these? any of it? ahh that's the real trick.

We're probably not gonna get anything done. We can only hope to hold onto what we have now. :dunno:

Until we can unify our methods and quit calling each other names we'll be lucky to stay ahead of gullible HS kids and their anti-gun leftist backers.

    Congratulations:

Because we're up against media/anti-gun lobby propaganda, trying to educate a dumb-downed, apathetic society about the nature of our RKBA, we need to take an incremental approach to restoring that right. And we should pick objectives that affect the most people or are the easiest to achieve first. But the main thing is to be relentless like our enemies

On the federal level, we need to continue to push the success of CCW:
    1)national reciprocity
    2)federal prohibition of GFZs
    Follow that up with:
    1)legalizing "silencers"
    2)eliminating SBR regulations
3)repeal the prohibition of out-of-state purchases
    4)repeal the NFA entirely

No NFA for suppressors and things with short barrels, No GFZ, no sporting purpose clause, no 922r, and National Reciprocity would go a looooong way to getting our rights back. I want to see all the rules repealed because "shall not be infringed" is pretty clear. But I think that if we start on the things I listed, that will keep us busy for awhile.
