Pro-2A Rally - in the works APRIL 14

I will be wearing a body cam during this event. Could get interesting carrying an AR and one of my benign, non-threatening flags liberals love to hate.

Too bad the weather looks wet. I would have liked to push my 2-year-old twins around carrying my AR, maybe dressed in a jacket and necktie...

To not miss anything and get a spot probably be there about 1:30 - you'll have plenty of folks to hang with / talk to - and such.
Speakers are supposed to be starting at 2 PM ... last until about 4 pm .... See post 176. this thread.

Or watch - I may have an update shortly too. ya never know.

There is also a rally planned there for those that just cannot make it to Indy. better to be allied and there than missing completely.
There is a thread around here for that and of FB as well.

permit required for speakers to be on steps (that's the only thing I think, and set up of equipment) ... are secured.

Yes. Heaven forbid your day job would involve waking at 1100, breakfast at 1200, Work @1300, and going home at @2100, ignoring where the sun is in the sky relative to what your watch says. (or isnt) Everybody I mention that to is flabbergasted and make it sound like its totally impossible.

Just to clarify, is that an event permit to be on the steps or what? I'm confused, don't mind me. I have the rest of the checklist, except for the weather.

You can ride with me if you want. My car is a worn out Toyota that rides like crap, and you might have to listen to contemporary Christian music the whole trip, but your welcome to ride along.

watch the old cracks or the "now eligible for AARP" crowd may bring their cane ... and it would be labeled "BB-COR Easton S400" LOL ...

as to the permit thing - YES - to set stuff and step UP on the steps we needed a permission slip. - The idea is there will be a PA / Generators and such. ... at least that's what I heard. ... I just hope we get the NUMBERS of folks we may be getting.
We have a lineup of speakers - and looks like one of the better rallies ... some just have folks coming and I don't see an agenda or anything.
Some places do not allow carry. ... and George got a thing that they need to pay 7,000.00 ... ??? (like found out yesterday WTF?) ...

we're good in Indy. Spread the word - Invite EVERYONE - if you have connections to media to get word out - to news - LMK - ASAP.

I will be at this event. I was also at the one a few years back with several of my kids. Can't find those pics at the moment. I will most likely be getting some video for my YouTube channel also so I hope that's allowed and people aren't gonna mind.

I prefer "mature" to old. But the "mature" absolutely requires quotes since it's really just a figure of speech.

I've been getting AARP propaganda since I retired from the USAF, in 2007! I was actually describing my Dad's buds. Dad is 84 and far from the oldest.

If we are out in the rain and outnumber the anti's who were indoors?? That word needs to get out there.
