My ballot came today in American Rifleman. 37 names, 26 votes. Who stays? Who goes? Anyone have any information/reminders past the pages in the magazine?
I do appreciate Adam Kraut's "The Legal Brief" episodes on The Gun Collective. Here is his site with his video on what ideas he would like to see if you are interested: Adam Kraut for NRA Board of Directors 2017

I'm voting for Stephen Stamboulieh and Adam Kraut. I humbly request that my fellow INGO members do the same.

The two candidates I listed are both attorneys with PROVEN track records of fighting for gun rights, including NFA rights and reforms. Also, please keep in mind that voting for "celebrities", regardless how likable you may feel they are, is NOT voting for the most aggressive/effective board members. Vote for ONLY those you KNOW will fight tooth and nail for our rights. Also, only vote for those you truly deem worthy. If you just fill in all of your slots because you have them, it could end up working against your preferred candidates. There may be other good candidates, but I know that the two guys I named above are rock solid AND will effective in further restoring our rights.

I'm voting NO on the proposed changes to the bylaws. The proposed changes take power from the hands of the membership and focuses it in the BoD - not good. It also makes it harder for new folks to get on the BoD. Another problem is the increased requirements to initiate a recall of a board member. If a board member starts going off the rails on us, I want us to be able to recall them without a gigantic hurdle.

FWIW, Jeff Knox recommends voting NO on the bylaw changes. For those of you who know your NRA history, Jeff's dad was Neal Knox and Neal played a key part in the Cincinnati Revolt that reformed the NRA and made it into a much more politically active and effective force for our rights.

You may want to reconsider how you vote.
Furthermore, I like the Gunny, I like Tom Selleck, but, what are they doing for the NRA besides being a public figure? Selleck has a an acting career and the Gunny will always have Glock...

    EDIT:
An explanation: voting for celebrities keeps them on the board and hard working people who will fight off the board. So, every vote casts for an undeserving candidate is another vote a deserving candidate has to overcome. There is no minimum number of candidates that you have to vote for, so just vote for the ones you know are good for the NRA.
