The way I heard it is that all evil black automatic assault revolvers that can take a clip that holds more than 10 ammunition bullets will have to be concealed in a level 5 retention holster...

Also, I heard anyone who CC's will be required to display a badge indicating they are armed.

Oh boy! I get to wear a badge!!! I have not had one of those since my plastic six shooters and plastic winchester with my white cowboy hat in 1964. I wonder if I can still find rolls of caps! goody, goody!

I just heard from a former Evansville police officer that he was told...The state of Indiana plans to crack down on OC

Highlighted for those saying the department was looking to get sued.

    No, for several reasons:

    1) OC isn't illegal.
    2) The State does not coordinate law enforcement priorities for non-state departments.
    3) "Former" officers are generally not kept in the loop. Any info is, at best, second hand.

Way to ruin the thread with logic and facts.

    And I heard size doesn't matter ...
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. That's the biggest lie in this thread.

Can you imagine the public's shock if suddenly all of these guns appeared if OC was mandated? Holy cow! It would be wild.
I would like to watch the CCers adjust. Would it be like withdrawing from a drug, sweats, jitters, headaches? Would they find that they liked it? Like a new shooter who doesn't want to but can't help himself?

Could you imagine all the butthurt if OC was deemed illegal?
Having more freedoms restricted is plenty of justification for "butthurt." Or are you okay with living ever more by the leave of your government overlords?

I haven't read through this entire thread yet but I'm going to go ahead and say it: Cops don't make the laws. They enforce them. If they started doing this the prosecutors would not prosecute (because they can't prosecute made up laws) and if they do it enough they'll end up getting enough people to file a class action lawsuit against the department(s) doing this.

However, I believe Texas actually has a loophole law like this that allows police to arrest any person with a gun if it scares a soccer mom or anyone else... despite it being completely legal otherwise.

My lord I couldn't imagine all of the carnage if OC was required by law.............all of those dead bodies from OCing people being the first ones shot during a robbery.

Hey this could be the answer for all of those that dislike OC..........MAKE OC REQUIRED AND KILL ALL OF US OFF. Shouldn't take more than a week or two at most!

OK .. So the consensus is this probably won't happen. I figured this would get torn to pieces. It did.. It was fun to read the replies. But my friend did say that but didn't say how it was being implemented or when or what his source was. I agree with you all that it would not be a good thing
