Here's my Series 70 (Ahrends grips-still have the originals) and a bright stainless Officers ACP I got last week. I stuck a pair of Buffalo horn grips on it. It's also unfired, but I hope to solve that problem tomorrow....:D

Looks almost like the 80 series government model in my safe, love shooting that bad boy. Mine has the flat MSH and long trigger! Congrats!! Nothing like a Colt. ;)

This is the first Colt I have ever owned. I can't wait to put some rounds through it.

I've just recently got into 1911's, but man the bug has hit me hard. After I paid the shop owner for this, I started talking to him about ordering my next 1911. Is that normal???

WOW, very nice....I have been wanting a Dan wesson specialist (and Valor) for a while now, but with duty finish...who put the Trik trigger in? I just installed one myself on a Kimber.

Nice Kimber. I had Matt Mink from the CZ USA shooting team do the trigger install and trigger job. He did an incredible job. There is zero creep and almost no overtravel. About as close to a perfect trigger as I've ever felt. He's a great guy and I bought the pistol from his shop.
