His charitable contributions speak volumes about his priorities. $1000 to a UN program and a princely $50 to Wounded Warrior Project. Considering the $360 to Jill Biden's breast health initiative, perhaps he should have given as much to research a cure for cranial-rectal inversion. At least that would be money spent toward a cure he needs!

Not the first to do this. It was rumored that the Clintons were doing it, too, when they moved to NY State.

I remember something like that. Hard for me to think of a more despicable couple than those two.

Initially the Clintons were going to charge the rent, but after the January 12th story broke in the Washington Times, this story appeared the next day:
Washington Post, Jan. 13, 2001: A Secret Service representative misspoke in the Reliable Source in the Jan. 12 Style section. The Clintons are entitled to collect rent from the agency for space at their Chappaqua, N.Y., home but have declined the payments of about $1,100 a month, said White House press secretary Jake Siewert.

    Wow....

I made a 1/4 of what he did and donated 300% of what he did to charity....and I didn't male a dime from the SA either. Guess I'm just not a good hard working American.

I hope that $50 to the wounded warrior project really made him feel generous. Why bother? Kinda like giving a penny tip to waitress.:(

AGI of 379k, and his charitable cash donations totaled $5,500.

I guess that paying one's taxes is patriotic, but apparently donating more than 1.5% of one's adjusted gross income to charity isn't.

Crazy. Libs love to talk big about social charity and the like, but they want you to pay, not them.

I don't begrudge him this income, nor the deduction. He is doing what any sane person would do; minimize his tax and keep as much of his earned income as possible. What does bother me is the incessant drone (from these same folks) that the "rich" aren't doing their "fair share."

It's common knowledge that 49% of Americans pay no federal taxes and the top 10% pay over 76%.

$50 to the WWP? That's it? I wonder if he would have given more if he got to meet individuals from his son's battalion that were injured? Punk...
