Plenty of spots on the line open for this weekend with a primed and ready group of instructors . Come join us for a great weekend of Marksmanship and History.

Would like to come but not sure if you have what you need? PM me and will see what we can do to get you on the line.

Don't think about it... JUST DO IT! It will change your life, no exaggeration! And ask about the free hats they have to give out, where them with pride, and be part of something big!.... oh yeah and have fun putting a few shots down rant too!

How early? Both days will go to approx 4PM, Saturday perhaps longer.

Saturday shouldn't be too bad, I'd have to leave by 5 at the latest. Sunday I'd probably have to leave around lunch time, I have to work in the afternoon

Sorry can't make it this weekend but I am planning on making the Oct shoot. I have a few questions to get me prepared for then. Is there a camping fee? Is it allowed to camp friday night? What's the feel for lunch, and what is provided? Are we permitted to fish while camping there for seed? Thanks in advance want to make sure all my ducks are in a row for Oct.

Camping starts Friday night and there is no charge. Fishing is for Club Members only.

My daughters usually provide lunch for $6 a head. Menu varies.

I send a welcome E-Mail through Appleseed on Thursdays prior to the shoot and include the meal info.

    To Dave: Borrow a rifle?

    Hey Dave,

My name is Ryan Bachman. Me and two of my good friends are planning on attending the Appleseed Project this weekend in Cloverdale, the only thing is, I don't have a rifle. I was wondering if you would be able to supply me with one. My friends already have Ruger's, so one is all we would need. I hope you can help. Thanks!

Got you covered - Ruger 10/22 w/ TAPCO stock & Scope. Just bring approx 400 rds of CCI Mini Mag to feed her and she will purr all weekend for you.

Ryan, glad you got the gun situation worked out!

    TWO MORE DAYS!!!

    DaveD,

I will be signing up soon. Is it ok to register on site? $70 + $5 per day? Cash or Check?

Should I also invest in a higher quality ammo such as the mini-mags? I was planning on buying a brick of federal... Also, will the range be under cover or should we bring something to provide shade (a hat, easy-up tent). Any description of the range would be helpful.

    GUN:

Hardwood Ruger 10/22 w/ USGI sling, BARKSA 3-9x32 plinker scope, and plenty of mags.

If registering at the shoot it will cost you $80 + $5 a day range fee. (Can be check to RWVA for registration with separate payment for range fee)

Bring what ever your rifle "likes". Mine is happiest with the mini-mags.

The range does have a cover back behind the firing line, but we will be out in the open on grass. Make sure you are dressed for the weather, which looks like sunny in the low 80's.

Goggle map can give you a good view of the range.

Your rifle is good to go!
