i recently put together this rifle and love it. I have not shot it yet due to snow but caint wait. its on a RRA flat top, the only thing i do not like is the charging handle. i set up rifle to shoot long range so i kept scope mounts as short a possible, and did not want iron sights, now with scope so close to charging handle its a pain to reach around scope to pull back to charge. ive looked around and have found some with bigger release trigger, but thats it. is this my only option?

I believe your only sollution is to use a charging handle with a bigger latch. I'm sure you have found the BCM Gunfighter already but it seems to be getting rave reviews and I will more than likely pick one up for my current built. You may also try the PRI Gas Buster, it's really designed for shooting suppressed but does come with a bigger latch and the handle itself is bigger in the back allowing for more grip.

You'll need to plug the cavity where the charging handle was to prevent gasses from escaping there and the ejection port cover will no longer work.
