      Adhesive Recommendations

Try Shoe GOO, the stuff is tough. I glued the sole of my boots back on with the stuff and they stayed on. I would apply it to the back of the Velcro so you could still remove the cover if need be.

      Bullet puller recommendation

I have a 45 year old kinetic bullet puller that has seen enough use that it is showing wear. Looking to replace it, and looked at press mounted collet pullers from RCBS, Hornady, and Forster. All three state that they are not for pistol rounds. Have any of you used these for pistol bullets, if...

      Lesson Learned today

Well, I made a major boo boo last night. Loading 9mm on single stage press. Powdered a full tray, applied bullets to the cases, and was then called in for supper. After supper I seated said bullets and proceeded to apply bullets to the remaining rounds, one tray at a time and seat them before...

      Training with cross eye dominance

For some reason a lot of kids try to use the left eye to shoot a rifle right handed. When I taught 4-H Shooting Sports, I would do the eye dominance test first, then try to get the rifle to the dominant side if the kid could do that. For those that were truly right handed and left eye dominate...

      Scopes for pellet rifles

      Fragile bears

You may need to drill a larger hole and a funnel with a larger outlet opening. Clumpy sand is a bugger, dry it out. I may have to do the same thing, as wife brought home some ceramic mushrooms that are light weight.

T/C Treehawk .50 cal = .490, 175-177 gr. ball w/ .015 lubed patch. 50-110 gr. 2F black powder. Pietta 1860 Colt and 1858 Remington = .454 round ball, no patches, 12-35 gr. 3F black powder. I use a wonder wad over powder, and seat ball well onto the wad. I have used a .451 round ball just for...

      Help a newb out.

I assume that you did not get owners manuals for the 1851s or the rifle. If you do a net search for the manuals, based on the manufacturer, I think you will find the info you seek. Also, buy all the black powder you can afford, as it is sometimes scarce. I will followup with some additional...
